In-Home Support Services
In-Home Support Services provides assistance to caregivers living with a loved one diagnosed with a developmental, physical, and/or, intellectual disability. This program is intended to help the primary caregiver support their loved one through supervision, respite, or a second set of hands by a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
Our trained DSPs provide personalized support in the community or family home such as:
- Life skills development (money management, communication)
- Daily living skills (room care, cooking, cleaning)
- Personal care assistance (dressing, hair care, personal hygiene)
- Community recreation and leisure activities
- Attaining developmental, educational, and physical goals
This service is funded through the North Dakota Developmental Disabilities Waiver.
